Release Notes — October 15, 2026
New
- Bulk Actions on the Leads list — Lead admins can check leads and open Bulk Actions to Place in Pending, Place in Queue, Assign to User, Place in Invalid, mark Not Interested, send a Message, Sell, Return, or Delete, up to 50 leads at a time. Messages are sent one per lead so merge fields fill in correctly.
- Duplicate warning when creating a lead — Creating a lead now warns when an existing lead or customer matches the phone, name, or address, and lists the matches with the reason for each. Open a match in a new tab, cancel, or save the new lead anyway.
- Duplicate a quote — Saved quotes now have Actions → Duplicate, which opens a new quote filled in from the original with today's date. Choose a fresh Expires In before saving.
- Payment Reference and how each invoice was paid — Manual payments now have a Reference field for a check number or similar. On a customer's Transactions list, paid invoices and payments show the payment method beneath the status, linked to the payment.
- Due column on customer Transactions — Each transaction now shows what's still owed: invoices show the balance after payments, refund receipts show what's left to refund, and other types show a dash.
- Work order appointments and on-site times — A work order's edit page lists its appointments, and the appointment counts on the Work Orders list and customer list open those appointments. Tech appointment cards and the customer Appointments table show on-site clock-in and clock-out times and actual duration, and on-site times can be corrected by hand.
- Latest Interaction on the Leads list — An optional Latest Interaction column shows each lead's most recent contact note. Turn it on under Administration → Global Settings → Appearance → Lead Lists.
- Recently Viewed leads — The Leads list now has a Recently Viewed list, like the Customers list, kept separately for leads.
- More reports in the portal — Accounting, Work Orders, and Tasks reports, along with reports built on Fundings, Funding Transactions, Work Orders, and Customer Tasks, now open, run, and edit in the portal with the same results as before. New Accounting and Work Orders report permissions control access to those categories.
- Alarm.com Onboard Recording with Smart View — The Onboard Recording with Smart View add-on can now be chosen wherever Continuous Audio Recording for Onboard Video is offered when creating or changing an Alarm.com plan.
Improved
- Search as you type in user pickers — Long user dropdowns such as Assigned To, Sold By, Lead Rep, Trainee/Trainer, Recruited By, Reports To, and PO Technician now search as you type, showing the first 50 matches and keeping the current selection listed.
- Sold leads — A sold lead's status can now only be changed to Returned From Buyer, and Convert to Customer is hidden for sold leads. The Leads list shows "Sold | buyer" in the Status column, and bulk and automated actions skip sold leads instead of failing.
- Sort leads by status — The Leads list can now be sorted by Status, following your company's lead status order.
- Customer list sorted by newest — The Customers list now sorts by created date, newest first, by default, so converted leads appear at the top. Created is also available under Sort By.
- My Open Tickets — My Open Tickets can now be sorted, filtered by due date, created date, task type, tags, and keyword, and paged, and your filters are remembered.
- Work Orders Assigned To — The Assigned To filter and bulk assignee picker list every active user who can have tickets assigned at your locations, and bulk edit won't assign a work order to someone who can't take work at its location.
- Company Calendar — The calendar loads faster, the location, manager, and user filters search as you type, and each appointment now has icons to view its details, open its Work screen, or edit it.
- Tag appointments from the Work screen — Techs can add and manage an appointment's tags from the top of the appointment card on its Work screen. Tag buttons and windows now name the record being tagged, such as "Add Appointment Tags."
- Order templates — Applying an order template, or the Order step of the customer create workflow, now shows every template default, including contract term, warranty, and interactive services provider. The monthly rate is pre-selected only when the template offers it.
- Contract term badge — The Contract Term badge on a customer counts from the install date, falling back to the sale date, and reads "N Months Left," "Contract Complete," or "N Months Past."
- Quotes labeled as quotes — Downloaded quotes are named as quotes, emails say a copy of your quote is attached, and quote emails offer Print without a Pay Now button.
- Electronic document signing order — The template editor's Routing Order is now Signing Order, with help text explaining that signers with the same number sign at the same time. While a document is out for signature, its page shows who is next up.
- Electronic document signatures — Typed signatures now appear in the signer's chosen handwriting style on both the signing page and the completed PDF, and each signer's style is kept on documents with multiple signers. A signer who misses required fields now sees every problem at once.
- Spillage to RMA — When a spilled item has no default vendor, Convert to RMA now lets you pick a vendor for it instead of failing.
- Add Invoiced Equipment — The customer Equipment tab has a new Add Invoiced Equipment button, and Quick Add → Uninvoiced Equipment on invoices now matches the classic interface.
- Payroll levels by appointment type — Payroll level rows can now filter on the type of appointment a payable is generated from.
- Calendar Event reports — Calendar Event reports have a new Customer Install Status filter for installed or not-installed customers.
- Inventory dashboard — The Company Inventory dashboard now shows submitted purchase requisitions instead of open ones.
- Customer edit buttons — Save buttons on a customer's edit form only appear for users who can save the customer.
- Name and address cleanup — Extra spaces typed before or after names, addresses, and similar fields are removed when a customer or lead is saved, so duplicate checks match correctly.
- API Usage page — The API Usage page now makes clear that it counts requests, not tokens.
Fixed
- Save buttons that stopped responding — Save and other buttons no longer stop working after an error elsewhere on the page until you refresh.
- Signing electronic documents — Signing a larger document with a blank required field no longer shows a server error page, and checked checkboxes on completed signed documents print as checkmarks instead of empty boxes.
- Dark mode after signing — Opening a signing page no longer resets your portal theme to light mode.
- Pages that went blank — A saved filter or link with an invalid date no longer blanks a list page on every visit, and very large saved filters no longer cause an error when you return to the page.
- Invoice Quick Add — "All the above" now includes the credit card processing fee, Monthly Monitoring Charge and Activation Fee can no longer be added twice, and changing the item on one of those lines no longer leaves it saved as that charge.
- Refund receipts — Saving a refund receipt no longer fails with an Expiration Date error, line amounts fill in as negative, new refund receipts show the correct status, and Removed Equipment is available in Quick Add.
- Manage Payments — Credits and refunds are applied with the correct sign, the first checkbox you tick is no longer ignored, and amounts that can't be applied now show a warning instead of being dropped with a success message.
- Processing Status report filter — Filtering reports by payment Processing Status now returns results.
- Time off — Editing time off from the List view now always opens the right entry, clearing the Reason now saves, and deleting time off asks for confirmation first.
- DocuSign recipients — Send now waits until recipient changes are saved instead of dropping them, and unchecking Embedded on a recipient now saves.
- Customer records for users without ADT access — Users without the ADT permission no longer get errors on customer records.
- Alula — The Alula provider settings can be entered again, and the customer Alula panel's View Info works.
- Saved provider passwords — Alula and SecureNet settings now show "(Password Saved)" instead of loading the saved password; leave it blank to keep it.
