Release Notes — August 13, 2026

New

  • Granular inventory permissions — Six new permissions under Inventory Management let you grant or restrict company-wide inventory features individually: Company Replenishment, Pending Equipment (purchase orders, purchase requisitions, RMAs, and spillage), Equipment Ledger, Equipment Templates, Equipment Transfers, and Physical Inventory. A user's personal My Inventory access is unaffected.
  • ADT order readiness — The customer's ADT connection page now reviews saved order data before you submit and flags anything ADT will reject, with links to fix each item. For orders ADT has placed on hold, new "How to clear this hold" guidance explains exactly what to do.
  • e-Document signer pre-fill — Electronic document template roles can now automatically fill a signer's name and email from the Customer, Sales Rep, Install Tech, or the logged-in user when a document is created. A quick-pick menu on the recipient edit page fills the same details with one click.

Improved

  • Brinks eContracts — The Brinks connection page adds a Financing and Service Plan section (financing, extended service plan, guard addendum, and personal guarantee), plus billing details, order amounts, and installation date fields for more complete eContract submissions.
  • Inventory lists — RMAs, Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, Spillage, Transfers, Equipment Ledger, and Pending Equipment lists now offer more sortable columns (including status, quantity, and cost), per-page controls, and sticky column headers that stay visible while you scroll.
  • New Transfer screen — Creating an equipment transfer is easier: a compact grid puts Quantity right next to each item instead of past a long row of columns, full per-recipient details appear on hover, a running total updates instantly with a warning when a quantity exceeds what's available, and a new "Hide Out of Stock" filter and equipment name search narrow the list.
  • Customer and Lead list filters — The customer list adds Address and City filters; the lead list adds Business Contact, Address, City, and Call Center Rep filters. Lead First Name and Last Name filters now match partial text.
  • Payment statuses — Electronic payments queued to process on a future date now show a distinct "Scheduled" status, displayed consistently on the Payments page and the customer's transactions, with a matching filter option.
  • e-Document auto-fill accuracy — SecurityTrax eDocs now fill mapped fields from the same values used by DocuSign and PandaDoc, so documents populate consistently across providers. Sales rep numbers now carry an explicit scope so the right number lands on each document, and the company street address in Global Settings is a single field that accepts a second address line.
  • Sales rep licensing — The license catalog form now asks for the license's governing body and shows exactly which customers the license will apply to. Clearer wording explains that "Required to be assigned" blocks saving an unlicensed sales rep on a customer.
  • SecurityTrax API dashboard — The Administration > SecurityTrax API page adds a usage graph and expanded usage details, uses clearer "API access token" terminology throughout, and notes upfront how API usage is billed in SecurityTrax Tokens. Auto-reload settings on the Tokens page now enforce sensible minimums.
  • Past contract terms — A customer whose contract term has ended now shows a "Past Contract" label instead of an empty value.

Fixed

  • Alarm.com — Error messages during Alarm.com actions could appear behind an open dialog where they weren't visible; they now display inside the dialog itself.
  • Sales rep licensing — A state-level license that also had a city on record no longer narrows its coverage to just that city, and the unlicensed-rep check now also applies when converting a lead to a customer.
  • Inventory list filters — A filter cleared to blank no longer resets back to its default value after the page reloads.
