Release Notes — August 7, 2026

New

  • API access management — a new Administration > SecurityTrax API page lets administrators grant or revoke individual users' access to the SecurityTrax API and view or revoke their active access tokens.
  • QuickBooks Ledger — a new accounting page for reviewing QuickBooks ledger activity, alongside enhanced report filters (amount operators and tag filtering).
  • Brinks account linking — link a customer to an existing Brinks central-station account directly from the Connections tab, with a side-by-side view of any account differences.
  • Overlapping appointments — appointments can now be scheduled into an already-occupied time slot after confirming a warning, with a company setting to control the behavior (matching the legacy calendar).
  • Sales Rep quick-select — the new-customer screen adds one-click Me / Unassigned Sales Rep buttons, and administrators can set new records to default the Sales Rep to the signed-in user.
  • Custom fields on customer import — the customer spreadsheet import now brings in user-defined field (UDF) values, validating each one and skipping any that are out of range.

Improved

  • Customer Workflows — the guided workflow's Schedule step now opens the New Appointment window pre-filled with the customer's latest work order and an Install appointment type, and the ADT workflow's Payment Method & PIC step now captures the abort code.
  • Alarm.com new-account flow — the create/change-plan screen now has you pick an account type first, loads live packages from your dealer account, and offers every supported add-on (locks, thermostats, garage doors, energy and automation features) so setup can be finished without leaving SecurityTrax.
  • AlarmNet setup — a streamlined authorization flow and clearer, more specific error messages when a connection or token refresh fails.
  • Electronic documents (DocuSign) — you can now resend a DocuSign envelope that has been delivered or opened but not yet signed, not just ones that were never sent.
  • Accounting filters — a standardized filter interface across the accounting screens with refined date handling.
  • Company Inventory — a reworked On Hand inventory page and a streamlined way to create a spillage entry from it.
  • Invoices — invoices and recurring invoices can now be saved with a $0 total (for example, free equipment) as long as they include at least one line item.
  • Rich-text editing — Source notes and the employee-directory email message now use a rich-text editor so formatting is preserved.
  • QuickBooks Online — QuickBooks Online administration is now available to any user with the Integrations permission instead of being limited to administrators.
  • Billing Methods permission — the "Billing Information Page" permission has been renamed to Billing Methods and grouped under Financial for clarity.
  • New-user emails — the name of the user who created an account is now available as a merge field in dynamic new-user emails.
  • Token top-ups — token top-up amounts now enforce a minimum and maximum.

Fixed

  • Alarm.com sign-on — the Mobile Tech and Remote Tool Kit single sign-on links now open reliably from the customer Connections page.
  • Inventory accuracy — corrected a case where inventory could be double-deducted or double-credited, and fixed the customer equipment ledger for items that require an install status.
  • Customer performance — the custom-fields (UDF) sections when editing a customer, and the Physical Inventory screen, now load faster, and Physical Inventory restores its state correctly after submitting.
  • My Inventory on iPad — the add-equipment dropdown no longer renders in the wrong place on older iPadOS devices.
  • Customer list — the funding status icon now reflects funding correctly for accounts on the newer funding model.
  • Customer duplication — duplicating a customer no longer carries over the original's central-station and interactive-service contact references.
  • Payroll — deactivated payroll rows no longer pay out, and payroll automation now skips payees with no active payroll level instead of failing the run.
  • Login page — fixed a crash when displaying messages for a partially-configured single sign-on provider.
