Release Notes — August 28, 2026

New

  • Upcoming Billing — A new page under Accounting shows what tonight's and the coming days' billing runs will do, across three tabs: Will Generate, Rollup Charges, and Individual Charges. Pick a 7, 14, or 30 day window, filter and sort each tab, and see the totals before anything is charged.
  • Bulk invoice download — Select invoices on the Invoices list, Aging Invoices, or an invoice report and download them as a single combined PDF, using the same layout you get from an individual invoice. Use Download All for every row in the current results or Download Selected for just the rows you check, up to 500 at a time.
  • Org Structure — Build your sales team as a tree of units — regions, teams, offices — with your own unit types and membership roles, then use it to control which customers a manager can see. Customers are attributed to a unit at sale time, and downline visibility applies to users who carry the matching restriction.
  • Send History on invoices, receipts, and statements — Saved invoices, quotes, payment receipts, and statements now show every time the document was emailed: when it went out, who it went to, who sent it, and whether the send failed. The card is hidden on records that have never been emailed.
  • Lead Information on the customer record — Converted customers now have a Lead Information button that opens a read-only summary of the record's history before conversion: entered date, callback date, lead disposition, call center comments, and past interactions.
  • Customers settings hub — Global Settings gains a Customers section for how customer and lead records behave, starting with an option to unlock the Lead Rep field on converted customers and settings for contact tracking on customer notes. Appearance stays focused on presentation.
  • Percent-based credit card processing fee — Percentage-based processing fees are now added through Quick Add, which calculates the amount from the invoice instead of stamping a flat dollar figure. The percent item no longer appears in the flat-rate item picker, and Pay Now no longer rewrites or removes a fee that's already on the invoice.
  • UDF descriptions and internal notes — Custom fields can carry a Description that appears as a tooltip beside the field everywhere it's used, plus an Internal Note visible only to administrators on the field's setup page.
  • Calculate Funding — Customer funding entries can be generated from the funder's configuration with a single action, with a confirmation step showing what will be created before it's saved.

Improved

  • Parent/child billing: one consolidated invoice email — Rolled-up sub-customer invoices are now delivered. Each parent receives one consolidated email per generation run, covering every rolled-up invoice created that night with the PDFs attached.
  • Parent/child billing: pre-charge statements and decline handling — Parents can receive a consolidated statement a configurable number of days before the charge date, rolled-up invoice due dates now snap to the parent's billing day so a family bills as one charge, declined charges retry within a bounded window, and a single failure notice goes out if the retries don't succeed. Both emails are switchable in Global Settings.
  • Parent/child billing: setup warnings and clearer banners — A parent whose billing method has no billing date, or no billing method at all, now shows a warning on the record explaining what will actually happen. The banners on both records say whether a charge is coming, on what day, and where the invoices are emailed. Past-due reminders now go out for families that are invoiced rather than auto-charged.
  • Customer Messages page — The Messages tab now shows every email and text a customer received — invoices, quotes, statements, receipts, and appointment notifications — not just messages composed in the app. Each row is one message, with bundled sends collapsed to a single entry noting how many records they covered, and a badge showing whether it went by email or text. The tab count now matches what the page shows, and the page follows the standard list layout.
  • Invoice editing — Creating an invoice now offers Save & Stay, so you can record a payment or email it without going back to the list. Line descriptions accept multiple lines and keep those line breaks on the emailed and PDF invoice, new lines default to a quantity of 1.00, and amounts over $999 display with thousands separators on the form, on invoice emails and PDFs, and across accounting lists.
  • Appointment date pickers — The date pickers on My Appointments and the company calendar now mark each day in the month grid with its job count, and My Appointments also marks days blocked by time off, so you can see where the work is before jumping to a day.
  • Time slot scheduling — When time slots are turned on, the slot calendar now pages through the booking horizon instead of loading it all at once. Each page names its date range, marks the start of each month, and shows Page X of Y.
  • Password changes — The change-password screens now list the password requirements up front and name the specific rules a rejected password failed, instead of showing a single generic error.
  • Locked accounts are visible to administrators — An administrator looking at a user can now see that the account is locked out from failed sign-in attempts and how long the lock has left to run, rather than having to guess whether the password was simply mistyped.
  • Note columns on accounting lists — Invoice and payment notes can be shown as a column on the customer's Transactions list, on company-wide accounting lists, and on customer Payables. Off by default and turned on under Appearance → Customer & Lead Lists, where lead list columns now have their own page so they can grow separately from customer lists.
  • Business names on accounting and inventory screens — Following last release's business-name display, commercial accounts now show their business name on accounting and inventory screens too: funding entries, aging invoices, payable entries, the equipment ledger, transfers, and recipient history.
  • All Access group roles — Roles and restrictions can now be edited on the All Access group — so those users can, for example, be kept off the tech and sales schedules — while the group's other permissions stay at full access.
  • Reports — A report that includes a filter the page can't display now says so and names the filter, instead of quietly leaving it out and leaving you unable to run the report.
  • Account Management pages — Billing invoices, payment methods, and tokens now degrade gracefully when the billing service can't be reached, showing a clear "not available" state with a Retry action instead of an error.
  • Organizational Hierarchy — The Organizational Hierarchy page is now hidden for companies that don't use it, and user titles have moved onto their own page with their own permission.

Fixed

  • Pagination on invoice and report lists — The First and Previous controls on Invoices, Aging Invoices, and report results no longer link back to the page you're already on.
  • My Appointments — The full My Appointments page no longer collapses on a day with no jobs, hiding the day strip and date picker. Days fully blocked by time off are now marked on the strip, and the strip stays in sync with the selected date.
  • Recurring invoice payment method — A payment method chosen on a recurring invoice can now be cleared again, instead of forcing you to delete and recreate the schedule.
  • Save & Stay on a new invoice — Payments can now be recorded immediately after using Save & Stay on a newly created invoice.
  • Payroll levels on payables — Adding a payable now explains when a payroll level's requirements aren't met, rather than producing nothing with no message. Inactive payroll levels no longer appear where active ones are expected.
  • Time off scheduling permissions — Who you can schedule time off for now matches the rest of the system, so users no longer see a different set of people depending on where they start.
  • Account status icon dates — Sale and cancellation dates in account status icon tooltips now use month/day/year like the rest of the app.
  • QuickBooks Ledger — The Type column now shows readable labels for every kind of ledger row instead of falling back to a raw value.
  • Payroll home widget — The payroll widget on the home page now shows customers by their display name and only counts active payroll columns.
